View on Kaiserstuhl, Germany

This picture captures history as the beautiful oak tree framing the watercolour is no more. The view is on the lovely southern German landscape of the Vooralpen land with in the background the Kaiserstuhl. it was quite a challenge at that time to get it all on the picture, but as it captured this beautiful place on the Teck giving an outlook from 750 meters and shaded by the tree, I am very happy with the result.

Wonderful painting! The old tree is so present with shimmering leaves and long, drooping branches! I love that it still overlooks the land beyond!
